27TH INSTALLATION CEREMONY OF ROTARY CLUB OF TEMPLE CITY “Rotary to work with Govt, PSU, Private & NGOs to make service delivery effective” : Dr. Tapan Kumar Chand

Bhubaneswar, 07/08/2017:  The ground breaking ceremony for supply of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) to the households with the installation of Decompression unit at NALCO Nagar, Bhubaneswarwas held on 6th August 2017.
It may be mentioned that this activity is apart of the CGD (City Gas Distribution) project under “PRADHANMANTRI URJA GANGA” programme, leading to the commencement PNG activities in Bhubaneswar. The project is slated to be completed by mid-September, 2017 by Gas Authority of India Limited.
The ground breaking was done by Shri B.K. Thakur, Director (HR) of NALCO andDr. Ashutosh Karnatak, Director (Projects) of GAIL. Senior officials of NALCO and GAIL were present on the occasion.
Dr. Tapan Kumar Chand, CMD, NALCO has complemented GAIL for setting up the cooking gas pipeline project in NALCO Township and hoped it will benefit the company employees and residents.
