Technology coupled with value based modern education will boost creativity among students: CMD NALCO

Bhubaneswar, 30/06/2018: Gajapati Maharaj Divya Singh Dev and Dr. Tapan Kumar Chand, CMD, inaugurating the smart classrooms project by NALCO at Sivananda Centenary Boys High School on the occasion of its 35th Annul Day celebration at Bhubaneswar, today.

Gajapati Maharaj Divya Singh Dev and Dr. Tapan Kumar Chand, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), inaugurated the Smart Classrooms project at Sivananda Centenary Boys High School, today at Bhubaneswar on the occasion of the 35th Annual Day of the school. Swami Sivachidananda Saraswati, Secretary of School Managing Committee, Swami Jagannathananda Saraswati, Joint Secretary of School Managing Committee, Shri Basant Kumar Thakur, Director (HR), NALCO were notably present at event. Gajapati Maharaj Divya Singh Dev appreciated the association of NALCO in providing the innovative solutions through smart classrooms for imparting quality education among the students. It may be mentioned that NALCO under its CSR initiatives is implementing different programmes for access to quality education.

Addressing the students and teachers on the occasion, Dr Chand spoke about the importance of imparting integrated value based education system for developing the moral character and personality of an individual. Dr Chand also reiterated the commitment of the leading CPSE of the Country – NALCO, in associating itself for development of various social, cultural and welfare activities. On this occasion, Dr Chand also felicitated the class X toppers of the school.
