Green Energy Initiatives

NALCO is promoting use of green energy. Several villages in the periphery are being provided with solar lights. Both its offices at Bhubaneswar are lighted by roof top solar projects. NALCO has taken up a project to run 25 battery operated vehicles at Puri. This will make Puri grand road free from polluting vehicles. Also within a year in the 2nd phase another 25 vehicles will operate.
