    Bhubaneswar, 12/03/2014: Ms Soma Mondal has been appointed as the new Director (Commercial) of Navratna PSU National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO). Prior to the new assignment, Ms Mondal was serving the Company as Executive Director (Marketing) at NALCO Corporate office.

    After graduating in Electrical Engineering from REC, Rourkela (Now National Institute of Technology), Ms Mondal joined NALCO in 1984 as a Graduate Engineer Trainee. With rich experience in Sales & Marketing, Ms Mondal has worked in company’s Eastern & Western Regional offices in various capacities and has been instrumental in devising various strategies for domestic sales, export, and launch of new products. It may be mentioned that Ms Soma Mondal is the first woman employee of the company to be elevated to the post of Director. With her induction as Director (Commercial), the NALCO Board has been further strengthened.
