    International Women’s Day Celebrated by NALCO

    Bhubaneswar, 09/03/2015:  On the eve of International Women’s Day, a special programme was organised on 7th March by National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) at Bhubaneswar. Ms. Snehamanjari Mishra (Secretary, Aaina) Eminent Social Personality, working for the development of persons with disability, women and children, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Shri Ansuman Das, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Shri S.C. Padhy, Director (HR), Shri A.K. Sahu, ED(H&A), spoke on the relevance of observing the day and stressed on the need of women empowerment.

    Ms. Geeta Mohapatra, Sr. Manager (HRD) delivered the welcome address. Ms. Subhadarshini Senapati read out the message from Ms. Soma Mondal, Director (Commercial), in her absence. Ms. Neelima Kongari proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Urmi Adhira Roy coordinated the programme. A short play on Women Empowerment, namely ‘Jugaru Juganta, Nari Aparajeya’ was staged by Ichharam Foundation.
