    Tennis Tournament Inaugurated

    Bhubaneswar, 11/12/2015: The 17th Edition of All Odisha Nalco Open Tennis Tournament was inaugurated by Shri Saswat Mishra, Secretary, Sports & Youth Services, Govt of Odisha, in the presence of Nalco Directors Shri S.C. Padhy and Ms. Soma Mondal today. More than 300 players, from various parts of the State, are participating in this 3-day tournament at Kalinga Stadium.

    In his welcome address, Shri Suresh Mahapatra, President, Bhubaneswar District Tennis Association, appreciated Navratna Nalco for sponsoring the tournament for the past 17 years and hoped the encouragement to continue in coming years as well. In turn, Shri S.C. Padhy, Director (HR), Nalco, reiterated Nalco’s commitment for the next three editions and assured the organizers that considering the efforts put in and goodwill generated over the years, Nalco shall be happy to take the tournament beyond two decades of sponsorship.
