    Bhubaneswar, 23.09.2025: National Aluminium Company Ltd. (NALCO), a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Mines, hosted its first-ever HR Conclave “Nav-Drishti” based on the theme of “People First, Future Forward”, bringing together academicians and professionals belonging to the Mining, Coal, Petroleum, and Metals industry, to ponder and reflect on the new age approach in the field of HR development.

    The conclave was inaugurated by Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh, CMD, NALCO in the presence of Shri Pankaj Kumar Sharma, Director (Production), Dr. Tapas Kumar Pattanayak, Director (HR), Shri Abhay Kumar Behuria, Director (Finance) and Shri Pranabjyoti Nath CVO, NALCO. Shri Krishna Kumar Singh, Director (Personnel), SAIL, Shri Bijay Kumar Sahoo, Group President, Strategic HR, Reliance Industries Ltd., and Dr. Ranjan Kumar Mohapatra, Former Director (HR), IOCL also graced the conclave and shared their valued knowledge on aligning HR strategies with the future needs of the industry.

    The conclave was enriched by the presentations from the companies, IOCL, SAIL, Tata Steel, NTPC, and Coal India Ltd, who have pioneered in adopting HR practices that focuses on the “People First” approach, to strive towards a better future of the organisation. Knowledge partners of the conclave were Ernst & Young, BCG, and ASCI, who also made presentations on the futuristic HR practices.

    The event gathered the senior officials and executives of NALCO, along with HR professionals from the core sectors for deliberation on the various distinct HR practices prevalent in the industry and to find the way forward.
