‘Flower Show by Nalco’

Bhubaneswar, 19/01/2016 : National Aluminium Company Limited(NALCO) organized ‘Basant Pushpa Pradarshani’, its annual Flower & Vegetable Show at Nalco Nagar, Bhubaneswar on 17th and 18th January. As many as 11 institutions and 78 individuals participated in the show in various categories.

On the concluding day function, Shri Tapan Kumar Chand, CMD, NALCO, was the chief guest. Smt. Preeti Roy, President, NALCO Mahila Samiti, was the guest of honour and handed over the prizes to the winners. Among others, Shri N.R. Mohanty, Director (P&T), Shri S.C. Padhy, Director (HR), Smt. Soma Mondal, Director (Commercial) and Shri V. Balasubramanyam, Director (Production), also graced the occasion.

In the Institutional Category, C.V. Raman College of Engineering, Bhubaneswar bagged the Champions trophy while in the Individual category, Shri Amiya Prasad Sahoo, Bhubaneswar was the Champion.

Earlier, Shri N.R. Mohanty, Director (P&T), inaugurated the show in the presence of Shri S.C. Padhy, Director (HR), Shri S.D. Sahu, ED(Finance), Shri Amiya Patnaik, GM(H&A), Shri Sanjay Mishra, GM(H&A), and other senior executives of NALCO.
Shri H.K. Pal, AGM (Hort.) coordinated the programme.
