    Bhubaneswar, 12/11/2015: Under Industry – Institution Interaction programme launched by NALCO, Mr T.K. Chand, CMD, NALCO, has made his maiden visit to KISS campus on invitation from its founder Mr Achyuta Samanta. Impressed by the scale of educational activities taken up by KISS and its focus on educating students from tribal villages of Odisha and other places, Mr Chand said that KISS will certainly beat Chinese Educational Institutions in its scale of operation. While addressing the students, Mr Chand advised the students to develop positive attitude and work hard for success in life. He gave the example of India’s Test Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, how from a family of a humble employee of Central Coal, he rose to the position of Test Captain of India.

    “Life objective power the action. Hence it is important to put right objective to get right kind of energy for success”. Mr Chand, accompanied by wife Ms. Preeti Roy Chand, who is working as Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya wished the students on behalf of NALCO employees and their family members. Founder of KIIT, Mr Achyuta Samanta felicitated Mr T.K. Chand and Ms. Preeti Roy Chand in their maiden visit. Mr Samanta described Mr Chand as a dedicated, dynamic and hard working top professional who has enhanced the visibility of Navratna Company NALCO and has been successful in ensuring its mineral security. Mr Samanta was all praise for NALCO’s CSR activities and its huge investment plan in Odisha.
