    NALCO donates patrolling vans to Police Commissionerate

    Bhubaneswar, 25/06/2014:  Navratna PSU National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) has donated 5 numbers of Police Control Room (PCR) vans to assist the Commisionerate Police (Bhubaneswar-Cuttack) to help people in need and maintain law and order.

    The PCR vans fleet was formally flagged off by Shri Prakash Mishra, IPS, DG & IG of Police, Odisha and Shri Ansuman Das, CMD, NALCO at the Police Commissionerate Head Quarters, here today. NALCO as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility had spent around Rs 32 lakh towards the cost of these PCR vans. Shri S.S. Mahapatra, Director (Production), Shri N.R. Mohanty, Director(P&T), Shri S.C. Padhy, Director (HR), Ms. Soma Mondal, Director(Commercial) of NALCO, along with the senior officers of the company and Police Officers of the Commissionerate were present on the occasion.

    It may be mentioned that NALCO, as a responsible corporate citizen, has always come forward to provide assistance to the state administration in maintaining the law and order situation. With the donation of the 5 PCR vans, the company has so far donated a total 40 PCR vans to the Commissionerate of Police.
