    NALCO signs MoU with NLCIL for Energy Collaborations

    Bhubaneswar, 14.02.2026: National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Mines, Govt of India, has signed an MoU with NLC India Ltd. (NLCIL), today, towards strengthening collaboration in the 1080 MW thermal captive power project and renewable energy development.

    The MoU was signed in the presence of Shri Jagdish Arora, Director (Projects & Technical), NALCO and Shri Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, CMD, NLCIL, and the Directors of NLCIL at Mahabalipuram (Tamil Nadu).

    The MoU aims to support NALCO’s captive and long-term power requirements, with a focus on sustainable energy solutions. It provides a structured framework to explore long-term power tie-ups and coal supply arrangements. The partnership will envisage joint project development in the future to come.
