Olympian Anuradha Biswal & Cricketer Shiv Sundar Das regale KV-2 students

Bhubaneswar, 31/01/2016: Ace athlete Anuradha Biswal, who represented India in Sydney Olympics and noted cricketer Shiv Sundar Das, who used to open for India in Tests & One-Day Internationals, had pep-talks with the students of Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 at Cuttack yesterday. These officers of NALCO graced the Annual Sports Day of the school as guests of honour and shared some inspirational anecdotes of their childhood days. Chief guest Smt. Minakshi Behera, the Mayor of Cuttack Municipal Corporation, hoisted the K.V. flag and lighted the sports flame. Smt. Preeti Roy, Principal of the school, delivered the welcome address and urged the students to do well both in academics and extra-curricular activities, to develop into wholesome personalities.

Besides students, their parents also participated in the sports activities. Yoga, aerobics, songs and dances marked the day-long bonhomie. Shri T.K. Swain, TGT, proposed a vote of thanks.
