Panchpatmali Bauxite Mines Awarded

Bhubaneswar, 31/07/2014:  The Bauxite Mines of Navratna PSU National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), situated at Panchpatmali Hill, Koraput, Odisha, has bagged the Sita Ram Rungta Social Awareness Award 2013-14, instituted by Federation of Indian Mineral Industries (FIMI).

On behalf of NALCO, Shri Ansuman Das, Chairman-cum-Managing Director received the trophy from Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, Hon‘ble Union Cabinet Minister of Steel, Mines, Labour & Employment, during the Annual General Meeting of FIMI at New Delhi today, in presence of Dr. Anup K. Pujari, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Mines, Govt. of India.

Shri Sanjaya Kumar Patnaik, AGM(Env), Bauxite Mines received the certificate. Ms. Soma Mondal, Director (Commercial), Shri V. Balasubramanyam, Executive Director (Production) and Shri Jiban Mahapatra, AGM(Coord.), SH&E Dept, Corporate Office were also present on this occasion.
