PDAC 2018: NALCO CMD bats to attract investors at Global summit for Angul Aluminium Park

Bhubaneswar, 08/03/2018: India Day was celebrated at the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) convention in Toronto, Canada, on 7th March 2018. On the occasion, Dr. Tapan Kumar Chand, CMD Nalco & Chairman of Aluminium Association of India said that India and Odisha in particular is making rapid progress in the Aluminium Sector. Addressing a large number of investors, prospectors, miners, manufacturers from all across the globe, Dr. Chand also made a presentation on prospects of investment, exploration, technology collaboration, Plant & equipment supply, export& import with India, wherein he focused on growing significance of the Aluminium Sector. In response, a lot of enthusiasm was seen amongst Industries about the upcoming Nalco’s Angul Aluminium Park.

It may be noted that PDAC is considered one among the biggest mining and manufacturing convention wherein India’s leading mining industries are participating in this international convention under the India Pavilion. Nalco as the nodal agency of Govt of India & CPSUs is organising the event to showcase India’s mining power.
