Bhubaneswar, 19/12/2015: As part of NALCO’s Industry – Institution Interaction programme, Shri Tapan Kumar Chand, CMD, visited C.V. Raman College of Engineering, Bhubaneswar on Saturday and graced the International Conference on Man and Machine Interface (MAMI – 2015). Addressing the students and the faculty on the occasion, Shri Chand underscored the importance of maintaining synergy between implementation of technology and human capital, so that the employability of human resource is not affected due to automation. “Machines help in amplifying the human ability, but it has a nameplate capacity, while the potential of human resources is unlimited & infinite,” Shri Chand said.

Shri Chand, accompanied by Shri Sanjib Kumar Rout, Chairman of the Institution, also went around the various high-tech laboratories in the campus including Processes & Robotics Labs and appreciated the efforts for setting up these laboratories in foreign collaboration.
