TOLIC Meeting at Nalco

Bhubaneswar, 23/12/2013: The first meeting of Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC) (Undertakings), Bhubaneswar, under the Department of Official Language, Govt. of India, was held under the aegis of Nalco, here today. Shri Ansuman Das, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Nalco, presided over the meeting. Shri S.C. Padhy, Director (HR), Shri A.K. Sahu, Executive Director (H&A) and Shri H.C. Pradhan, GM(A&CC) also graced the occasion.

As many as 32 representatives from various organizations like Bharat Sanchar Nigam, Airport Authority, National Cooperative Development Corporation, RITES, RINL, Insurance Companies, Oil Companies and other PSUs participated in the programme.

Shri Sudarsan Tarai, Member Secretary of the Committee delivered the welcome address and highlighted the aims and objectives of TOLIC. The proceedings of the meeting emphasized on the popularization of Hindi as the Official Language across the country and enhance usage in day-to-day official activities.
